Introduction to my Journey

I’ve been introduced to computer science and the world of programming languages at the beginning of high school, learning initially what every programmer once does. How to print “hello, world”. Though I never really fell in love with it until I started off with projects. Seeing something of my creation actually come to life was a different feeling, whether it was the beginner Arduino projects I did or the heart and soul that I put into my correlational environmental engineering project. It took me months, with most of it going into research and just plain understanding how millions of data points would come together and get filtered out through my code and produce viable results.

I can go on and on about what they taught me and how I managed to persevere through solving the puzzles, or at least how I like to think about it. But the main fact that truly connects me to computer science is the ability for it to grow. To help multiple causes in multiple sectors all remotely, through the use of the computer sitting in front of you. You have the ability to connect to so many subjects and get exposed to different ideas, whether it’s the medical industry, the environment (personally my favorite), or even just something fun like creating a birthday calendar that associates the day with a specific zodiac trait.

I want to incorporate my computer science journey in my blog because it’ll be a way for me to log my learnings in one place and also be an engaging read to people interested in the subject as well as my passion projects.
